Returning to work after an illness or injury can be difficult. At Bridge Rehabilitation we work one on one with our clients to help them transition smoothly back into the workplace. Our team of experienced health professionals will work with you, your employer and your health practitioners to achieve the best possible outcome for you and your health.
Return to work, new employer
Depending on the nature of your situation, it may not be possible for you to return to the same job. It may be that your old job is too physically or emotionally stressful or that your personal and professional needs have changed. Whatever the reason, our return to work services can help you to find suitable work with a new employer.
If you are unable to return to your current employer, Bridge Rehabilitation can provide you with a full vocational assessment which will evaluate your abilities, skills and needs. This assessment will help you to find work with a new employer. At Bridge Rehabilitation we carefully tailor our assessments to suit your unique needs. Generally, the following elements are considered as part of your review:
- Personal education and work history
- Key abilities and skills that can be transferred
- Clinical evaluation of the injury and your recovery
- Your physical and psychological well being
- Your career interests
- Any training or retraining needs that you may have
